Noel Bazaar income to build classrooms, buy school supplies for students

The upcoming Noel Bazaar, happening at the Okada Manila on Nov. 14-16, is not just a place for shopping, but is also a meaningful experience to help out schools in need.

Portions of its income will be used for GMA Kapuso Foundation’s projects related to education.

The foundation is leading relief efforts, following the continued calamities in the Philippines. Among those it aims to help rebuild are schools through its Unang Hakbang sa Kinabukasan Project and Kapuso School Development Project.

One of the longtime donors for the foundation is Cut Unlimited Incorporated, which is also behind Noel Bazaar.

“Isa sila sa pinaka loyal at talagang consistent talaga na nagtitiwala na ang kanilang dino-donate ay gagamitin talaga para sa mahihirap,” GMA News anchor and GMA Kapuso Foundation Special Adviser Mel Tiangco said on “24 Oras” on Wednesday.

This weekend's edition of Noel Bazaar will feature 100 merchants as well as a much-awaited celebrity ukay-ukay with preloved items from Carla Abellana, Cloud 7, and Muriel Lomadilla. — Nika Roque/LA, GMA Integrated News
