Kuya Kim Atienza has returned to ‘TiktoClock’: ‘Gusto po ni Emman ako po ay bumalik dito’
Kuya Kim Atienza has returned to work on “TiktoClock.”
On Wednesday’s episode of the morning variety show, Kuya Kim was welcomed back by the Tiktropa and they shared a group hug. The hosts and audience members also chanted his name.
“Gusto ko magpasalamat sa lahat ng nag-send ng message, lahat ng pumunta, tumawag sa amin for Emman. Hindi ko po kayo mapasalamatan lahat, ngunit kami po ay punong puno ng pagmamahal. Thank you so much,” Kuya Kim said.
Kuya Kim admitted it wasn't easy to go back to work.
“It’s not back to normal. Pero gusto po ni Emman ako po ay bumalik dito at magbigay saya,” the TV personality said, adding “TiktoClock” is a place where he can “share kindness every single day.”
“Sabi nga, a little kindness everyday. ‘Pag happy nga ang tao, kind tayong lahat at ‘yan ang gagawin natin,” he said.
“And if I can share kindness and if I can be a little kinder today, and Emman is alive in our hearts," he added.
Kuya Kim also told the hosts, “Pasensya na kayo kung ‘di ko kayo masyado na-entertain nung pumunta kayo kay Emman, ang dami talagang tao.”
Kindness was the Atienza family's rallying cry after they announced Emman’s passing on October 24. She was 19 years old.
In her last broadcast message on Instagram, posted on September 1, she opened up about the pressures of social media and taking a break from TikTok.
In Kuya Kim's touching interview with Jessica Soho, aired on "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," he said he remains grateful for the "19 beautiful years" of Emman.
He also reminded parents about the seriousness of mental health during his interview with Vicky Morales. — Nika Roque/LA, GMA Integrated News
