‘Sang’gre’: Cassiopea, Alena, Armea released as Danaya breaks frozen curse
Danaya (Sanya Lopez) and Imaw finally broke the spell that kept Cassiopea (Solenn Heussaff), Alena (Gabbi Garcia), and Armea (Ysabel Ortega) frozen, reuniting the original Sang’gres at a crucial moment in the war against Mitena (Rhian Ramos).
On Friday’s episode of “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre,” Mitena demanded the Sang’gres’ gems in exchange for Mona (Manilyn Reynes) and Javier (Boboy Garovillo).
The young Sang’gres refused, triggering a fierce clash that led to Javier’s death, and while Terra (Bianca Umali) attempted to revive him using the Earth Gem, her efforts failed.
Anaca then brought Zaur (Gabby Eigenmann) and the Mine-a-ve army to reinforce Mitena, putting the new gen Sang’gres at an even greater disadvantage.
As the battle grew more dire, Agnem (Mikoy Morales) managed to capture Mira (Kate Valdez) and Lira (Mikee Quintos) once more.
Meanwhile, Danaya sought answers from the Batis ng Katotohanan (Ashley Rivera), learning that only boiling mud from the Lavanea volcano could melt the frozen prisons trapping the original Sang’gres.
Determined to restore balance, Danaya and Imaw finally succeeded in freeing Cassiopea, Alena, and Armea from their icy confines.
The four then traveled to the mortal world together, bolstering the weakened forces of the new gen.
Adamus (Kelvin Miranda) activated the water gem to grant Alena a warrior costume and weapon for the coming fight.
Danaya, formerly the guardian of the earth gem, knelt and touched the ground, asking the element to grant her a warrior form as well, preparing both clans of Sang’gres for the looming confrontation.
"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube.
