Jopay Paguia, Aira Bermudez recall groping incidents faced by SexBomb Girls

Jopay Paguia and Aira Bermudez recalled in the recent episode of "Your Honor" the time her fellow SexBomb dancers were harassed by male fans.

In the episode, Jopay shared that the incident happened during a campaign event.

So may bus kami doon. Tapos s'yempre, doon sa labas, nandiyan rin mga tao, talagang hablutin kami," she said.

"Tapos 'yung isa namin kagrupo nahipuan siya talaga. Talagang kinaskas 'yung ano niya. Iyak siya pag-akyat. Sabi [namin] sino? Sino?" Jopay recalled.

After their groupmate pointed out the culprit, the girls confronted the male fan and reprimanded him.

According to Aira, it didn't happen only once, there was another instance in Batangas involving another member again.

"Nag-show kami sa Batangas. Tapos, pinapatayan kami ng ilaw or namamatay 'yung ilaw. So ginagawa, may music pero namamatay 'yung ilaw. Halos hindi namin natapos 'yung second set namin. Bumaba na kami [ng stage]," she said.

"Eh may Am-girl kami. Si JV. E siya 'yung huli-huli. Umaambon, umuulan na. [May narinig kami] Sabi, 'No, no, no!' Pagtingin namin, tapos may ilaw na, hawak siya nung matandang lasing," Jopay said.

In the same interview, Jopay said that there are often misconceptions that they are "malandi" simply because they are dancers.

Jopay said.

Aira also shared her experience of being judged for being a dancer when she was just 12 years old.

"May experience ako na ganyan. Kasi ano pa lang ako noon, parang 12 years old yata ako. So ako mismo, nagtrabaho ako, bata pa lang ako," she recalled.

So 'yun 'yung sa akin dati.

The SexBomb girls rose to fame for their daily appearances on a noontime TV variety show. The group later starred in the afternoon soap, "Daisy Siete," and became top recording artists.

They are set to hold their reunion concert on December 4 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
