Andrea Torres, Dion Ignacio to star in upcoming ‘Magpakailanman’ episode

Andrea Torres and Dion Ignacio are set to lead an upcoming episode of “Magpakailanman,” where they will portray Elaine and Randy.

According to Nelson Canlas' report on “24 Oras,” Wednesday, the story takes a dramatic turn when a major revelation disrupts the couple’s relationship, challenging everything they thought they knew about each other.

“Kakaiba ‘yung kwento niya. Love story siya, at the same time, kwento ng isang palaban na babae dahil marami rin siyang pinagdaanan noong childhood niya,” Andrea said.

The Kapuso actress added that viewers can expect valuable lessons from the episode.

“Siguro ‘yung kahit anong ibato sayo ng buhay, kahit gaano kabigat ‘yan, kailangan mo talagang piliing lumaban eh, and ‘pag ginawa mo ‘yan sa sarili mo, malalampasan mo ‘yon,” Andrea said.

Andrea recently returned from a trip to Vietnam with her friends.

She said they chose the destination because none of them had visited it before, and they were eager to explore its rich culture and history.

“Talagang minake sure ko na mae-experience ko lahat do’n. Pupunta kami ng tunnel na ginamit nila noong war. I think doon sila nagtago, so excited ako para doon. At the same time magsu-scooter kami, iikot kami doon sa mismong lugar. Planado pati ‘yung food trip, kailangan lahat ma-try talaga namin,” she said.

The "Magpakailanman" episode will air on Saturday at 8:50 p.m. on GMA Network. 

Andrea also recently starred in the series “Akusada.”

She worked alongside Benjamin Alves, Lianne Valentin, and more.
