Enhypen donates P4M for PH flood relief efforts
K-pop group Enhypen and its agency Belift Labs donated KR100 million (around P4 million) to aid the Philippines following the impacts of back-to-back typhoons in the country.
According to an article by the Korea Times, most of Enhypen’s donations would be directed towards Bulacan, which the group noted held a “special place” in their group history as the area where they conducted their “Walk the Line” tour.
“We became aware of the recent severe flooding affecting many communities across the Philippines, a country that has long been close to our hearts… We wanted to offer our support, even in a small way, and sincerely hope the contributions will be used to help those in need and assist in the ongoing recovery efforts. Our hearts are with the local community and fans during this challenging time,” the group shared in a statement.
Enhypen’s donation will be handed over to Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, in partnership with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation.
