‘Sang’gre’: Cassiopea falls after protecting Mitena from Zaur
Cassiopea (Solenn Heaussaff) made the ultimate sacrifice to save Mitena (Rhian Ramos).
On Thursday’s episode of “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre,” the New Gen Sang’gres successfully trapped the Black Kambal-Diwas inside the gems, following a plan devised by Terra (Bianca Umali), who convinced Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Deia (Angel Guardian), and Adamus (Kelvin Miranda) to join her.
Elsewhere, Mitena confronted Zaur (Gabby Eigenmann) and attempted to urge him to hand over the Esperanto, but her plan did not work.
Just as Zaur was about to strike, Cassiopea appeared through ivictus and took the fatal blow meant for Mitena.
The twin sisters reconciled moments before Cassiopea died. She told Mitena she hoped her death would finally make up for their parents' shortcomings that Mitena had endured.
The four Sang’gres witnessed the attack and confronted Zaur.
In the middle of the clash, Zaur managed to seize Deia as a hostage and revealed to the three others that he was her father, a truth Deia already knew but the rest did not.
Despite the shock, the fight pressed on as Zaur demanded the gems in exchange for her safety.
Terra used ivictus to free Deia, forcing Zaur to drop the Esperanto.
Mitena seized the weapon and turned it against him, killing him with a single stab. Before disintegrating, Zaur vowed he would return.
In the aftermath, Emre appeared before Cassiopea and instructed her to proceed to Devas at once to embrace her new fate.
