Miguel Tanfelix recalls fainting on set of 'KMJS' Gabi ng Lagim The Movie'

Miguel Tanfelix recalled a harrowing experience on the set of "KMJS' Gabi ng Lagim The Movie" where he fainted during the shooting of an intense scene.

In Miguel's GMA Integrated News interview with Nelson Canlas, which aired on "24 Oras," Friday, the Sparkle star shared that the incident happened while they were filming a scene in the basement of a ship.

"Wala masyadong air flow na nangyayari sa set namin and then 'yung set namin pinuno namin ng usok. Eh sa scene na [yun kailangan parang hysterical ako, so nagsisisigaw ako, tapos nakahiga pa 'ko sa floor, so nalanghap ko lahat ng usok," he said.

Per Miguel, he had to tell the director to cut the scene when he realized he was about to faint.

"Sabi ko, 'Direk, direk, wait, hihimatayin yata ako.' 'Yun na 'yung last kong naalala, tapos nakapaligid na sa 'kin si direk, may medics na diyan, umiinom ako ng tubig."

Miguel added that they checked his blood pressure and that everything was okay afterward.

"Para sa 'kin nakakatakot 'yun kasi first time mangyari sa akin 'yun na parang gumalaw 'yung mundo tapos ako, hindi ko alam kung anong nangyari sa 'kin," he said.

Miguel stars in "KMJS' Gabi ng Lagim The Movie" with Jillian Ward, Sanya Lopez, Elijah Canlas, and more.

The film features three separate horror stories inspired by real events, directed by filmmakers Yam Laranas, Dodo Dayao, and King Marc Baco.

Produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs, the movie will premiere in Philippine cinemas starting November 26.
