‘Sang’gre’: Aquil kills Emre, Gargan rises to threaten Encantadia
After Cassiopea's (Solenn Heussaff) death, the balance of realms shifted once more as Emre met his end in Devas, while the long-dormant Gargan emerged from the underworld vowing revenge.
On Friday’s episode of “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre,” Adamus (Kelvin Miranda) entrusted Cassiopea’s Kabilan to Flammara (Faith da Silva), saying they would bring it home to Encantadia. Both faced the uncertainty of what lay ahead, stepping into a new chapter guided by those who had passed on.
Using their four gems, the New Gen Sang’gres struck the Esperanto to erase it. In response, it twisted into a dark and winged being before bursting into icy particles that disappeared into the air.
Adamus then used the water gem to wipe the mortals’ memories of the battle, except for Mona's (Manilyn Reynes).
In Devas, Aquil (Rocco Nacino) sought word from Emre about his daughter Gaiea (Cassy Lavarias), but Emre refused to give any update, insisting that his orders be followed.
The tension escalated into a fight, with Aquil and Azulan (Marx Topacio) ultimately killing Emre.
Before fading, Emre warned that a powerful creature he had long kept imprisoned would soon break free, placing everything he created in danger.
Moments later, the underworld stirred. Gargan (Tom Rodriguez), the god of the Engkantos, rose and vowed revenge as he wielded the Black Gem.
Back in Encantadia, Imaw told Lira (Mikee Quintos) and Mira (Kate Valdez) that the thunder and lightning signaled a bad omen, a warning of looming peril.
In Devas, Cassiopea arrived and immediately sensed the realm was in mourning.
"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube.
