Mikee Quintos, Beauty Gonzalez to star in 2-part anniv episodes of 'Magpakailanman'

Mikee Quintos and Beauty Gonzalez are set to star in a two-part special of "Magpakailanman" in celebration of the drama anthology's 23rd anniversary.

During a media conference on Monday, "Magpakailanman" host Mel Tiangco revealed that the upcoming episodes, dubbed "Ang Babae sa Loob ng Krimen" and "Ang Babae sa Death Row," are produced in collaboration with GMA Kapuso Foundation.

Directed by Zig Dulay, who also helmed "Firefly" and "Green Bones," the two-part special follows the story of a woman who ends up on death row for killing her father.

Aside from the special episodes, "Magpakailanman" will also soon launch its own YouTube channel as part of its 23rd anniversary celebration, where some of the drama anthology's most notable episodes from over the years will be made available.

The anniversary special of "Magpakailanman" is set to air on November 29 and December 6 at 8:15 p.m. on GMA Network. —MGP, GMA Integrated News
