Miguel Tanfelix says he lost P20k in Brazil after overpaying at restaurant
Miguel Tanfelix revealed that he lost P20,000 during his backpacking trip in South America.
On Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” the Sparkle star said that it happened while he was eating in a restaurant in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
So medyo senti and siguro not paying attention,” Miguel shared.
According to Miguel, instead of paying P2,000 for the bill, he ended up paying P20,000.
Then kinonnect-connect ko,” he added.
He also spoke with the restaurant’s owner and attempted to get his money back, but they would not refund him since there was not sufficient proof that he had actually overpaid.
Miguel traveled to South America in September to celebrate his 27th birthday.
During his trip, he explored the cities of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, as well as Buenos Aires in Argentina. He also visited iconic tourist attractions such as Machu Picchu in Peru.
