Rodfil Macasero returns to 'Bubble Gang' for next installment of flood control mess parody
A former "Bubble Gang" mainstay is returning to the country's longest-running gag show for the next installment of its flood control mess parody.
According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Rodfil Macasero will play a new character that will be introduced on Sunday's episode.
"Ako ay natutuwa kasi makakapag-perform ulit ako sa Bubble Gang. Sobrang na-miss ko sila sa aking pagbabalik. Nakita ko mga bago, s'yempre andun pa rin mga luma," he said.
"Nakakatuwa at excited din ako sa magiging reaksyon natin dun sa video. Masaya lang siya guys kaya watch for it!"
Rodfil is one-half of the viral duo Moymoy Palaboy.
The name of his character in the parody has not yet been revealed, but it is said that he will be making revelations.
In the previous two installments of the parody, Michael V. played Ciala Dismaya, EA Guzman played her husband Cornee, and Kokoy De Santos played Cong. Kikoy.
All were spoofs of personalities who have been making headlines amid the flood control controversy: contractors Sarah and Curlee Dismaya, and Cavite 4th District Representative Cong. Kiko Barzaga.
"Bubble Gang" airs Sundays at 6:10 p.m. after "24 Oras Weekend."
