'Secrets of Hotel 88' shares sneak peek from upcoming series

The excitement for the upcoming series "Secrets of Hotel 88" is now on!

As seen in Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" on Thursday, the GMA and ABS-CBN collaboration project shared some sneak peeks from the set, which was filmed in a resort in Puerto Galera. 

The report teased a confrontational scene between the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0" housemates Will Ashley, Josh Ford, Brent Manalo, River Joseph, Ralph De Leon, Bianca De Vera, and Mika Salamanca, as well as a glimpse of the characters of Dustin Yu, AZ Martinez, Kira Balinger, Esnyr, and Klarisse de Guzman.

According to Josh, having a lock-in taping with his fellow PBB Collab 1.0 housemates is a "new experience."

"Super saya. New experience. Mas enjoy ko 'to kesa sa actual taping mas masaya 'yung locked in kasi mas focused ka sa work talaga," he said.

Meanwhile, Mika and AZ talked about the bond they formed while on the set.

"Kumbaga 'yung bond po kasama po ng cast nandito po lahat so 'yung character po namin hindi namin nabibitawan," Mika said.

"Parang after the shoot we get to bond like parang the whole day kami magkasama and wala, it's more fun kapag locked in for the first time, so it's a different experience," AZ added.

For Bianca and Will, the cast didn't need to make many adjustments because they were already familiar with one another.

"Since may familiarity kami sa isa't isa parang hindi na kami nagkakapaan which is very nice and ang gaan lang lahat nila katrabaho," she said.

"Kumbaga mayroon na kaming na-build na magandang connection, magandang pagiging pamilya, isang pamilya talaga madali na lang siya for us kasi kilala na namin 'yung isa't isa kumbaga paano magtrabaho 'yung bawat isa sa amin siyempre 'yung nakasanayan namin sa bahay na. Nagtutulungan pa din hanggang ngayon," Will said.

Meanwhile, Dustin said that he is excited to learn from his fellow stars.

"Ako naman lagi ko siya nilu-look forward honestly 'yung taping namin dito excited ako na makasama sila makaeksena sila matuto sa kanila," he shared.

Klarisse said she wants to go on a food trip during their rest days, especially since it's her first time visiting the place.

As for Ralph, their lock-in taping reminded him of their days in the iconic Bahay ni Kuya, only this time, they actually got to enjoy real, good food.

"Walang adjustment it's like we're back in the house sobrang saya kasi kahapon, naka-dinner kami in one long table again with actual food real good na hindi namin kailangan lutuin or hindi kailangang lutuin ni Ate Klang," he shared.

Aside from the PBB housemates, "Secrets of Hotel 88" will also feature a pool of veteran actors such as Gardo Verzosa and Dominic Ochoa.

"Ang dami naming natutunan sa kanila ang dami nilang advice about the industry, about acting, and we're just really so blessed and grateful," River said.

"Secrets of Hotel 88" is a family mystery drama teleserye that deals with love and friendship. It is set to air in the first quarter of 2026. Production began in October. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News
