Heart Evangelista’s painting, Carla Abellana’s preloved items among highlights at Noel Bazaar

Heart Evangelista’s painting and Carla Abellana’s preloved items are among the pieces featured at this year’s Noel Bazaar Celebrity Auction, which is raising funds for the beneficiaries of the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

According to “24 Oras,” Friday, the Noel Bazaar supports cancer patients through the Kapuso Cancer Champions program.

One of its beneficiaries is five-year-old James, who had been battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

His mother, Annabelle Eclong, shared that James’ Christmas wish came true when he was declared cancer-free on November 19.

“Siya mismo ang nagsasabi na ilalaban niya. Gusto niyang gumaling. Sa awa ng Diyos, nitong November 19, binigay na ‘yung wish namin,” Annabelle said.

The Noel Bazaar is being held at the World Trade Center in Pasay in partnership with Cut Unlimited Inc. and will run until November 30. 

Earlier this week, fans of P-pop boy group Cloud 7 bid on the group’s pre-loved items during the celebrity auction.

More exclusive pieces are set to be auctioned this weekend, including items from Carla and Pia Arcangel, as well as Heart’s painting.

“You will see a lot of beautiful items, important pieces for auction, which will really mean a lot to a lot of people,” Heart said.

Proceeds from the event will fund GMA Kapuso Foundation’s projects.

“Nangangalap tayo ng pera para makagawa ng tatlong eskwelahan sa earthquake-stricken at flood-stricken Cebu,” GMA Kapuso Foundation EVP & COO Rikki Escudero-Catibog said.

“Dito niyo na kumpletuhin ang Christmas shopping niyo kasi hindi lang kayo nag-shopping at nakakatulong pa,” Cut Unlimited president Mayose Gozon-Bautista said.
