Alden Richards gearing up for fan meet in December: 'This is an event of gratitude, appreciation'

Alden Richards' fan meet in celebration of his 15th anniversary in show business is just around the corner, and he has been hands-on with the preparations for the special event. 

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Friday, the Asia's Multimedia Star shared that the "ARXV: Moving ForwARd" fan meet is a milestone event for him. 

"Since it's a 15th year anniversary, I want all the details and the decisions made for this event galing sa kaibuturan ng puso naming lahat. Of course, this is an event of gratitude, of appreciation, of highlighting the people that were part of my 15 years," he shared. 

According to Alden, the highlight of his 15 years in showbiz is "the lives that I was able to touch." 

"Kaya siguro ako nalagay dito sa sitwasyon na 'yun kasi I think that's my mission, to really give out, parang ano lang ako vessel of all the blessings that's coming in the way because alam ni Lord na at the end of the day I'm gonna be able to share it to people in need."

During the media con for his fan meet, the Kapuso actor also remembered his late mother, Mama Rosario, who was his number one supporter. He wished his mother could see his achievements, as she was the one who pushed him to be successful. 

"Para makita lang ng mom ko, nanay ko, kung ano 'yung nagawa ng pag-push niya sa akin before na siya talaga 'yung gustong makakita ng kung ano man po 'yung narating ko. So, 'yun 'yung lagi kong iniisip 'pag gabi, parang sometimes 'pag may achievement, kapag may recognition, sana nakikita niya physically," he said. 

Alden also teased that a person in his family will be part of a performance number at his fan meet, adding that this is one of the exciting parts of the event. 

The "ARXV: Moving ForwARd" fan meet is happening on December 13 at the City of Santa Rosa Laguna Multi-Purpose Complex.
