Ashley Sarmiento, Rave Victoria clear the air on awkward interaction in ‘PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0’

Ashley Sarmiento and Rave Victoria, dubbed as AshRave, are among the earliest fanships to emerge in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.”

 Their natural closeness quickly caught the attention of their fellow housemates, who began playfully “shipping” them and even calling the pair the “mhie” and “dhie” of Bahay ni Kuya.

However, as their bond deepened, Ashley eventually started to feel a bit awkward around Rave. In Sunday’s episode of PBB, the two finally opened up about the growing tension between them.

In a talk with Kuya in the confession room, Rave shared that he felt hurt every time Ashley avoids him because he considers her his friend.

“Parang siyempre po, close kami na lagi kami magkasama tapos biglang parang nag-tone down siya sa akin. So siyempre po, as friend niya din, siyempre po masasaktan din ako Kuya,” Rave said.

Meanwhile, in a separate conversation with Kuya, Ashley admitted that her focus had started to shift toward Rave, causing her to lose sight of her original goals in the competition.

“Siguro po 'yung attention and focus ko po na dapat na nasa goal ko kung ano ba talaga 'yung goal ko dito sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya. Medyo gumaganon sa papunta sa goal na makilala si Rave. Lumihis po. Nag-move po siya sa another world,” she admitted.

Shortly after their talk with Kuya, the two cleared the air between them, with Rave asking if she was really avoiding him.

“So umiwas ka nga?” Rave asked.

“Oh my gosh. Oo na nga! Pero like, it's just for myself,” Ashley answered, feeling giddy over their talk.

Rave then admitted that he was hurt by Ashley’s recent actions toward him.

“'Yun nga, ‘yung nangyari. Nasaktan ako. Tapos, ewan. 'Pag minsan kunyari wala tayong interaction, minasan hinahanap ko. Totoo. Hindi ko alam bakit.”

“Tsaka, ayoko pa naman mag-claim ng something tapos sabihin ko siya sa 'yo,” he added.

A confused Ashley asked what Rave meant about claiming something, to which he answered, “Basta alam mo na ‘yon.”

Rave also said that he is just expressing everything he feels inside the house, which is why he wanted to talk to Ashley. 

“Basta ako 'yung ini-express ko lang lahat ng nararamdaman ko dito. 'Yun lang. At 'yun, 'yun nararamdaman ko. Kaya sinabi ko sa 'yo. Kasi importante ka din sa 'kin eh. Kaya gusto ko kapag may problema ako o kaya may nangyari sa 'tin, papag-usapan natin,” the Kapamilya star said.

Shortly after their conversation, the two reassured each other that all is well between them.

Following their talk, Rave confided in Lella Ford about Ashley, as she asked whether they arrived at a mutual understanding.

“Walang aminan. Pangit naman kung mag-aassume ka. Kaya 'yan muna," he said. 

Ashley once again entered the confession room and talked about her feelings for Rave.

“Kuya, totoo naman po. Ina-admire ko naman po kasi talaga si Rave. Dahil nga po, mabuti po ang kanyang puso. At mabuti po siyang tao. Sabi ko nga, first impression, nag-last talaga na mabait. And like, every time I talk to him, like, he just proves why he's so deserving of my admiration,” the Kapuso star said.

“Wow! Parang feeling ko, lahat ng attention ko Kuya, na kay Rave lang, Kuya. Hindi ko rin po alam kung ano pong pinakain niya po sa 'kin or ginawa niya po sa 'kin. Pero noon time po na rin, Kuya, parang 'yung mundo ko sa loob ng bahay niya, parang napunta po sa mundo niya. Mundo niya, Kuya,” Ashley added.

She also mentioned the time Rave opened up about his “multo” in life, referring to his family, which caught Ashley’s interest.

“Parang, doon ko po na gustong maging kaibigan and kilalanin po si Rave, Kuya. Noong nag-start po siya na magkwento po ng multo niya and noong buhay po niya,” she said. 

“Kasi nakita ko po kung gaano po kabuti po 'yung puso niya and kung paano po siya mag-isip po. Even at such a young age, Kuya. So parang, hinangaan ko po siya at that time, kuya." 

Aside from Rave’s life story, she also liked how the young actor was a good listener every time she shared her story.

“Nakikita ko po na interested din po talaga siya sa mga sinasabi ko and nakikinig po siya, Kuya. Siyempre po, natutuwa po ako na ganun po 'yung pakikitungo po niya sa akin, Kuya. And bukod din naman po doon, Kuya, very comfortable din naman po ako around Rave. I mean, he's showing his intention,” she said.

"PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" airs weeknights at 9:40 PM, Saturdays at 6:15 PM, and Sundays at 10:05 PM on GMA.
