Marco Masa says he is getting to know Eliza Borromeo in the outside world

Marco Masa and Eliza Borromeo had an unexpected connection while they were inside the "Pinoy Big Brother" house.

On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the pair was asked about that connection now that they left Bahay ni Kuya.

"Outside world is really different so I'm really getting to know her po," Marco said.

"We are good friends po. Super. And super happy po ako na makikilala ko pa siya outside," Eliza said.

Both also said they are focusing on their solo careers.

Tito Boy then asked Marco what made Eliza stand out in his eyes.

"I won't deny the fact that she really is a safe space of mine inside. I really saw something in her na I wanna make her realize that she is more than what she sees para sa sarili niya and that's something na I've been helping throughout din," he answered.

"She really is something. Admirable naman talaga siya and I really believed that it really came out naturally din po," the Sparkle star added.

In a previous PBB episode, Eliza was asked by Iñigo Jose about her feelings towards Marco and fellow Kapamilya housemate Miguel Vergara.

Eliza admitted that she was "down bad" for Miguel before entering the house. 

"Alam ko 'yung favorite ulam niya, alam niya 'yung favorite ulam ko. So, matagal-tagal na rin talaga 'yung araw, months, na nagkausap kami ni Miguel bago kami pumasok dito. Pero 'yun nga, 'di naman ako... Sinasabi ko naman sa inyo lahat na ilang beses akong ghinost ni Miguel," Eliza said.

Meanwhile, Eliza described how her connection with Marco unexpectedly grew from the very start.

"Si Marco naman, ako siyempre hindi ko rin in-expect na day zero pa lang, nagkakausap na kami ni Marco. Tapos hindi ko na rin alam talaga kung kailan nag-start. I mean, hindi ko alam kung paano nagtuloy-tuloy yun," the Kapamilya star said.

Eliza said that their bond began as friendship, but admitted that emotions naturally developed over time.

"Si Marco ang isa sa mga unang lumapit sa loob ko. At siyempre, hindi ko rin naman in-expect na may mada-develop na hindi lang palabas. Gano'n lang, makikilala ko siya, makikilala niya ako. Siyempre, hindi naman natin mapipigilan ang bugso ng damdamin."

Marco and Eliza are the second pair of housemates to get evicted from Bahay ni Kuya.
