Sexbomb Girls deliver night of nostalgia at reunion concert
It was a night of nonstop dancing and singing at the Sexbomb Girls reunion concert held on Thursday at the Araneta Coliseum.
Rochelle Pangilinan, Jopay Paguia, Aira Bermudez, Weng Ibarra, and the other members showcased their dance skills that come second to none.
As seen in a video taken by Aubrey Carampel of GMA Integrated News, the Sexbomb Girls served nostalgia by performing their hit songs like “’Di Ko Na Mapipigilan.”
The audience was also in for surprises as EB Babes and SexBalls—the group of Michael V., Ogie Alcasid, Wendell Ramos, and Antonio Aquitania—had a performance showdown with the Sexbomb Girls. Dingdong Dantes and Art Solinap also performed.
Fans also joined in on the dancing while in the audience area, proving that they are “pinalaki ng Sexbomb.”
The Sexbomb Girls’ second concert is happening on December 9 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The group rose to fame through its daily appearances on a noontime TV variety show. Later, the Sexbomb Girls starred in the afternoon soap, "Daisy Siete," and became top recording artists.
They were such a Filipino pop culture phenomenon that long after the members went their separate ways, Sexbomb and their songs are still remembered fondly by fans.
In 2023, six of Sexbomb Girls reunited for a Netflix ad, dancing to their popular hit "Spaghetti Song."
