Dustin Yu on first fan concert: 'You all made me believe in myself'
Dustin Yu is grateful to everyone who graced his "Destiny: The Dustin Yu Experience" fan concert last week.
On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared snaps from his sold-out show on December 4 along with a heartfelt gratitude to his beloved fans.
"I still haven't fully processed everything that happened that night but as I write this, my heart is just overflowing with happiness and gratitude," Dustin said.
According to the actor, he never thought that holding a solo concert would ever be possible for him.
"I never imagined myself standing on a center stage, performing with so many people watching, supporting, and celebrating with me," he said, adding that it wasn't easy for him to do it.
But with the love and support of his fans, he was able to push himself beyond his limits.
"There were so many doubts and fears, but as I always say, nothing beats the love and support you give me. That's what pushes me beyond my limits. Every shout, every cheer, every laugh, every smile, every sintra, every banner, you all made me believe in myself," Dustin added.
The Chinito Boss Sikap ng Quezon City also said he never imagined achieving something so huge as his only goal was just to make people happy, inspire others, and share something meaningful.
"Sometimes our greatest dreams are the ones we're afraid to imagine, but when you're surrounded by people who believe in you, you start believing in yourself too. And when you finally take that leap, you realize you were capable all along. That day was truly for all of you," he said.
"Maraming maraming salamat sa mga taong sumuporta sa 'kin para maging possible 'to lahat. Sama sama tayo hanggang dulo," Dustin ended.
Dustin held his fan meet concert at the New Frontier Theatre. His fellow PBB Collab 1.0 alums Kira Balinger, AZ Martinez, Josh Ford, and Vince Maristela watched the show.
Dustin was among the 20 housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0." He is set to star in the upcoming movie "Love You So Bad" with Will Ashley and Bianca De Vera, as well as GMA Network and ABS-CBN's collaboration project "Secrets of Hotel 88," with some of his fellow housemates.
