What is love? Will Ashley, Bianca De Vera, Dustin Yu answer

Will Ashley, Dustin Yu, and Bianca De Vera are set to headline the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "Love You So Bad."

According to director Mae Cruz Alviar, the film is about the story of three young people who got caught in a love triangle.

During the movie's media conference on Monday, the main cast were asked what is their definition of love.

For Will, love is about commitment.

"Love is to commit talaga eh. 'Yun talaga 'yung the best. You give your one hundred percent without expecting anything," Will said.

Like Will, Dustin said that love is a commitment and that it can be found everywhere.

"For me, love is a commitment. Love is everywhere. Sa work, sa tao, pag nandyan ka na,  pag naramdaman mo 'yung love, kailangan mong magiging committed. Kasi marami kayong pagdadaan na struggles, ups and downs. So, talagang mata-test kayo ng bagay-bagay," Dustin said.

"But then, kaya love is a commitment kasi, yun nga,  talagang kailangan mo talaga pag-isipan bago ka magmahal, kasi, kung masasaktan ka, then hindi mong binigay 'yung hundred percent," he added.

Bianca, meanwhile defined love as unconditional.

"I love love. I think it's so beautiful. Pero, siguro growing up, siya may iba't ibang klaseng love naman 'yung na-experience nating lahat. Siyempre, iba't ibang love 'yung nagbibigay natin sa bawat tao 'yung nakakasalamuha natin. But, I think, isa lang 'yung common denominator nilang lahat for me, I feel like love is unconditional, It comes without, again, no conditions," Bianca said.

According to Bianca, when you love, you don't need a specific reason.

"Para sa akin, parang pinatanong ako lagi pag-interview, paano mo malalaman kung mahal mo 'yung isang tao? The thing is, with me, I don't, I can't say, I can't pinpoint it. Ang alam ko lang is that mahal kita. Walang specific reason. Walang expectations. I just love you," she added.

Will, Dustin, and Bianca will play Vic, LA, and Savannah, respectively, in the film. It will premiere on December 25.

Other cast members include Dimples Romana, Xyriel Manabat, Ralph De Leon, Reign Parani, Zach Castaneda, and Nour Hooshmand.

Bianca, Will, and Dustin were all former housemates of the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0." They formed two of the favorite fan ships inside Bahay ni Kuya: WillCa and DustBia. —MGP, GMA Integrated News
