Rochelle Pangilinan tells fans of Sexbomb Girls: 'Maraming salamat for growing with us'

Rochelle Pangilinan is filled with gratitude following the successful run of the Sexbomb Girls’ reunion concert.

The dancer and actress took to Instagram to dedicate a message to “mga pinalaki ng SexBomb. Sa mga sumasayaw sa sala, sa mga nanonood pagkatapos ng klase, sa mga kabisado ang steps kahit hindi pa uso ang tutorial videos… kayo ang backbone namin.”

Rochelle said that doing the reunion concert didn't come without risk. 

“Walang gustong mag-produce. Walang kasiguraduhan. Pero tinuloy namin… kasi hindi naman pera ang hangad namin,” she said.

“Ang gusto lang namin ay makabawi, makapagpasalamat, at mabigyan kayo ng isang regalo na karapat-dapat sa inyo.”

Rochelle acknowledged fans’ support of them since their early days, and said they've become an important figure in their lives.

“Kayo ang dahilan kung bakit worth it lahat. Kayo ang dahilan kung bakit nagkaroon kami ng lakas ng loob ulit. Kayo ang dahilan kung bakit nagbukas ulit ang ilaw,” she said.

“This concert wasn’t just ours. Inyo ’to. Para sa inyo ’to. At kung ano man ang naibalik namin sa dalawang gabi, kulang pa ’yon sa laki ng utang na loob namin sa inyo,” she added. “Maraming salamat for growing with us, staying with us, and believing in us—kahit minsan kami mismo, nagduda na.”

Sexbomb Girls delivered two nights of nonstop singing and dancing, plus nostalgia and showdowns at the Araneta Coliseum on December 4, then the SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 9.

Among the guests were OPM band Mayonnaise; Michael V., Ogie Alcasid, Wendell Ramos, and Antonio Aquitania also known as the SexBalls; as well as Dingdong Dantes who reunited with the Abztract dancers.

The group rose to fame through its daily appearances on a noontime TV variety show. Later, the Sexbomb Girls starred in the afternoon soap, "Daisy Siete," and became top recording artists.

In 2023, six Sexbomb Girls reunited for a Netflix ad, dancing to their popular hit "Spaghetti Song."
