Anntonia Porsild says it was an 'honor' to hold PH sign in SEA Games: 'A country so close to my heart that I love'

Anntonia Porsild expressed her love for the Philippines following the opening of the Southeast Asian  Games in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Miss Universe 2023 1st Runner-Up held the Philippines placard during the opening ceremony at the Rajamangala National Stadium on Tuesday.

On Instagram, Anntonia that it was “an incredible honor to be able to hold the Philippines' name with so much pride at the opening of this year’s SEA Games 2025."
 
“A country so close to my heart that I love and continues to show so much love and support for me as well,” Anntonia said.

“This moment meant a lot and I wish you all the best in the upcoming games,” she added.  

Alongside the Thai beauty queen was a 200-strong Philippine contingent, led by Alex Eala and Bryan Bagunas.

The SEA Games 2025 will run until December 20.

Anntonia made waves during Miss Universe in 2023. She had a close friendship with the Philippines’ bet Michelle Dee, with a tandem dubbed as “PorDee.”

In 2024, they appeared on a magazine cover together.
