Kuya issued an important reminder for the “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” housemates on Thursday.

At the Confession Room, Kuya told the boys that he understands a lot of their bonding with the girls started with jokes.

“Masaya man ang makipagbiro, ngunit ng lahat ng kasiyahan, ito din dapat ay may hangganan,” Kuya said.

Kuya talked about how boundaries are important for their generation for mental health, as well as having respect and consent in healthy relationships.

Kuya also said he knows how the boys value the girls, and that they also have mothers and sisters.

He told the boys that he would always guide them because he loves them.

Kuya said he prioritizes their well-being.

I assure you that this is your safe space,” he added.

Early this week, the girls confronted the boys about their green jokes, telling them that they do not want to be objectified. The boys, Inigo Jose, Lee Victor, and Miguel Vergara particularly, were called out for saying "GYAT," which stands for "Girl, your a-s thick."

"'Yun lang 'yung gusto namin dito is for you guys to not objectify us," Krystal told them. "Even if it's funny in your head it's really not right."

In the Confession Room, Lee added, "As a gentleman, I should have known better.

Inigo shed tears following the confrontation. He apologized to the girls, saying he's open to change and that he has respect for women.

Miguel also said he should not have tolerated the boys. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
