Zack Tabudlo celebrates being a ‘winning coach’ to Sofia Mallares of ‘The Voice Kids’

“The Voice Kids” has named Sofia Mallares as its grand champion.

Competing against Yana Goopio of Team Bilib, Marian Ansay of JuleSquad, and Giani Sarita of Benkada, Sofia offered a powerful performance of “The Prayer” during the finale on Sunday night, to emerge as the new winner, and coach Zack Tabudlo could not be prouder.

The “Pano” hitmaker took to Instagram to celebrate her win, and to share how serving as a coach on “The Voice Kids” has become a full-circle moment for him.

“11 years ago, I stood here… a kid with a dream, as a contestant in this competition and lost,” Zack began.

“Today, I stand here as a winning coach,” he said. “Congratulations, Sofia!”

Hosted by Dingdong Dantes, “The Voice Kids” featured an all-star coaching lineup. Aside from Zack, other coaches on the iconic red chairs were Julie Anne San Jose, Billy Crawford, and twins Miguel and Paolo of Ben&Ben.
