Lee Victor says he was surprised to see Charlie Fleming welcoming him in the outside world

Lee Victor said he was surprised to see his close friend Charlie Fleming welcoming him in the outside world.

In an interview with GMA News Online, Lee said he cried because he remembered the promise Charlie made to him. 

“Umiyak ako nun kasi I was really touched by Charlie," he said, adding they made a promise to each other.

"We made a promise. She made a promise na siya yung magsusundo sa 'kin. And after a while, na-evict ako. At na-evict nga ako. And she was there for me. Kasi noong na-evict si Charlie, I was there for her,” Lee said. 

Despite the promise, he didn't expect to see Charlie waiting for him, making the moment extra touching for him.

“It was a really touching moment na she was there. Kasi noong una, hinahanap ko talaga siya at tinatanong ko 'yung mga tao kung nasaan si Charlie. I was looking for her, then sinasabi na wala. Parang hindi punta, kasi busy. May prior conference then sabi ko, ah, okay. I understand,” he recalled. 

So when he saw her that night, he broke down in tears. 

“Parang doon ako nag-breakdown. I didn't expect talaga na pupunta talaga siya. Expected but unexpected then in a way,” Lee shared.

In the salubong video previously shared by Charlie, Lee can be heard apologizing to his friend. 

When asked why, Lee said he thought of the actions he made inside Bahay ni Kuya that might affect their friendship. There was also something of a broken promise.

“May promise ako ay Charlie parang see you next year. See you next year. Pero hindi ako umabot ng next year. Kaya parang nag-sorry na rin ako kay Charlie. But yeah, I was so happy then. Tears of joy ‘yun.”

Lee and Kapamilya actor Iñigo Jose were the third pair of housemates to get evicted from Bahay ni Kuya.

Meanwhile, Charlie was among the 20 housemates of PBB Collab 1.0. She finished as the Third Big Placer alongside her Kapamilya duo Esnyr. — LA, GMA Integrated News
