PBB Collab 2.0: Sofia Pablo cries after Allen Ansay and mom request a song for caroling task

Sofia Pablo could not hold back her tears after getting a sweet surprise on “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.” 

On Wednesday's episode, the housemates took on a caroling task and accepted requests from people in the outside world.

Sofia’s mother, Rima, requested the song “Sama Sama Tayo Ngayong Pasko.” Alongside Rima were Sofia’s loveteam partner Allen Ansay and her aunt Rain, who all watched the performance in the outside world.

When Sofia saw their names onscreen, she instantly shed tears.

“Gulat po ‘ko, Kuya. Mga mahahalagang tao sa po sa buhay ko,” the Kapuso actress said in the Confession Room.
 
“Naging emotional po ako Kuya kasi kahit hindi ko po sila nakausap mismo, parang naramdaman ko po Kuya na pinapanood po nila ‘ko talaga,” she added.

She also said that she dedicated the song to them. Sofia related to the lyrics, “Kahit na malayo man ako, sa puso ko’y andiyan pa rin kayo.”

“Sila po talaga ‘yung iniisip ko kada kinakanta ko po ‘yung original na songs po namin,” she added. “So ‘yung feeling po Kuya na kinakanta ko po ‘yun at the moment para sa kanila sa labas, sobrang naiyak po talaga ako,” she added.

In the outside world, Sofia’s mom Rima also cried.

“Mommy, I miss you. Merry Christmas,” Sofia said after their song.

In a previous episode, Sofia told houseguests Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin that she spent 18 Christmasses with her mom and that they celebrate with just the two of them. “Ngayon na wala ako, hindi ko alam kung asan siya,” Sofia said.

"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" started airing on October 25. The second season features 20 Gen Z celebrities from Sparkle and Star Magic.
