David Licauco's 'Never Say Die' character crosses over to 'Sanggang Dikit FR'

David Licauco's upcoming Kapuso series "Never Say Die" has yet to premiere, but viewers can already have a glimpse of his character as it makes a special crossover in "Sanggang Dikit FR." 

According to Athena Imperial's report on "24 Oras" Friday, the Sparkle star did not think twice about bringing the role of Andrew Dizon, an investigative vlogger, to "Sanggang Dikit FR," which stars Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado. 

"Nung sinabi sa 'kin na in a sense crossover nga 'to para ma-introduce 'yung character ko sa 'Sanggang Dikit' onto the next teleserye which is 'Never Say Die,' siyempre game tayo diyan," he said. 

Per Imperial's report, it took a whole day for David to shoot his scenes for "Sanggang Dikit FR." His special appearance also served as a reunion for him and Dennis, who was his former co-star in "Maria Clara at Ibarra" and "Pulang Araw." 

"To be honest, na-miss kong ka-trabaho si Dennis kasi my past two teleseryes siya 'yung kasama ko. So seeing him again, na-excite ka, siyempre di naman everyday makakatrabaho mo si Dennis 'di ba? I really had to study," he said. 

"Every time na I step onto the scene, I have to step up, siyempre," he added. 

"Never Say Die," which is headlined by David and Jillian Ward, is coming to GMA Network soon. 

Meanwhile, "Sanggang Dikit FR" airs Monday to Friday at 8:55 p.m. on GMA Prime.
