Herlene Budol shares about meeting Kevin Dasom's family in Thailand

Herlene Budol opened up about one of her trips to Thailand where she met Kevin Dasom's family — a memorable and meaningful experience she got to share with her mother. 

In Herlene and Kevin's appearance on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Monday, the Kapuso comedienne shared that the trip marked many firsts: her first time to travel to the country with Kevin and her first-ever to travel with her mom in general. 

"Noong unang punta ko doon, first time ko pumunta kasama [si Kevin], kasama din 'yung nanay ko, nilaboy ko 'yung nanay ko sa Thailand," she shared. 

She described meeting Kevin's family as "masaya lang." 

"Parang nagkaroon kami ng pamilya dun, kami nina mama. First time din namin ni mama mag-travel together," she added. 

During their guesting, the two were also careful not to categorically define where their friendship is headed. 

"Depende, Tito Boy, depende sa kung gaano katiyaga 'tong taong 'to, kasi sabihin naman natin, minsan hindi naman natin masasabi kung totoo ba lahat ng nasa TV 'di ba?" said Herlene. 

"Eh umabot naman ng isang taon 'yung friendship namin, mukha namang — tignan natin Tito Boy, time will tell." 

Back in September, Kevin revealed in an episode of "The Boobay and Tekla Show" that he is courting Herlene and her loved ones. 

Kevin had said that he approached the important people in Herlene's life because they mean a lot to her and to “show that I am being genuine and being honest.”

Herlene, for her part, shared that she wants to make sure that Kevin’s intentions are pure.

“Alamin natin kung totoo ba talaga kasi syempre marami nagsabi-sabi na, kasi baka dahil nandito lang siya, kaya niya ‘ko bet, or baka dahil nag jo-join sa flow flow ba, kung ano mang flow 'yan. Ang akin, tignan natin," she had said. 

Herlene and Kevin starred together in “Binibining Marikit.”
