Ashley Ortega gets surprise early birthday bash from fans

Ashley Ortega could not help but turn emotional after her fans threw her a surprise early birthday bash.

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras” on Monday, the Kapuso star said she felt emotional over the time and effort her fans put in to make her feel special.

“Talagang sinurprise nila ako today. Sobrang nostalgic ng feeling kasi ‘yung last time na feeling ko nag-first and last na nagparty ako nang malaki was my debut,” she shared.

As she turns 27 years old on the 26th, Ashley reflected on the year 2025 and considered the year as her best one because of her achievements.

As seen in the report, Ashley has achieved several milestones before turning 27, including starting a candle business that has already sold 500 pieces, investing in a condominium unit, and winning another acting award.

“Honestly, ang hirap i-let go na mag-27 na ako. I feel like I wanna stay 26 forever because sobrang daming blessings na nangyari sa buhay ko. Sobrang grabe ‘yung pivotal moment sa life ko. I feel like 26 changed my life for the best,” Ashley said.

Ashley said that she is looking forward to celebrating Christmas and to the gift that her boyfriend, Mavy Legaspi, will give. 

“Hindi ko pa alam. Excited ako sa gift ni Mavy but I don’t know yet! Pero actually natutuwa nga ako kasi last year since birthday ko after Christmas, dalawa 'yung binibigay niya sa aking gift kasi sanay ako na isang gift lang ang binibigay sa akin ng mga tao. Pang-Christmas at pang-birthday. Pero him, laging separate ‘yung Christmas and birthday gift ko. Pero hindi ko pa alam,” Ashley shared.

Meanwhile, for her birthday wish, the Sparkle star expressed a single wish: an end to corruption.

“Sana matapos ‘yung corruption. I couldn’t ask for more kasi this year ang dami kong blessings na na-achieve and sana next year si Lord na ang bahala. Kung ano man ang ibigay niya sa akin, kung ano mang birthday gift ibigay niya sa akin, I trust him,” Ashley said.

“Wala na akong mahihiling pa eh kasi sobrang best year ko tong 2025,” she added. 

The year was indeed a fruitful year for Ashley.

Aside from being a housemate of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0,” Ashley is also starring in the 2025 Metro Manila Festival entry “Shake, Rattle & Roll Evil Origins,” and the upcoming Kapuso series “Apoy sa Dugo.”
