Mika Salamanca, Shuvee Etrata, and more stars grace ‘Call Me Mother’ premiere

It was a star-studded night at the red carpet premiere of “Call Me Mother” at the SM Megamall cinemas on Tuesday.

Lead stars Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre turned heads as they mothered on the red carpet.

Joining them were cast members Mika Salamanca, Shuvee Etrata, Brent Manalo, Klarisse De Guzman, River Joseph, Esnyr, and John Lapus. 

Also present in support of the film were GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, along with celebrities Kokoy De Santos, Bianca Manalo, Emilio Daez, Robi Domingo, and Enchong Dee. 

"It's Showtime" hosts Anne Curtis, Jhong Hilario, Vhong Navarro, Jackie Gonzaga, Ryan Bang, and Ion Perez likewise graced the red carpet, while Sparkle star Michael Sager was among the night's hosts. 

Directed by Jun Robles Lana, “Call Me Mother” is one of the films for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. It premieres in cinemas on December 25.

The film follows Twinkle De Guzman (Vice Ganda), who starts the process of legally adopting Angelo (Lucas Andalio) as her son. However, Angelo’s biological mother Mara (Nadine Lustre) makes a surprise arrival and forms a bond with Angelo. Twinkle is out to prove that she is fit to be Angelo’s parent.
