Camille Prats says she apologized to Kuya Kim for viral meme

Camille Prats shared that she apologized to Kuya Kim Atienza after she became a viral meme due to a "TiktoClock" episode. 

In the said episode, the Kapuso actress was introduced on stage by the show's hosts right after their solemn spiel expressing sympathy to fellow host Kuya Kim following the loss of his daughter Emman in October.  

On Wednesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Camille explained that when she was asked to be a guest co-host on "TiktoClock" and do a production number, she was not aware that her appearance would be the "TiktoClock's" first live show following what happened to Kuya Kim. 

"I didn't know that kung ano 'yung pinanggalingan ng programa, that was actually the first live show they had after what happened to Kuya Kim, so I wasn't aware of that," she said.

"Ang alam ko lang is I'm guesting, I'm gonna dance, so I was busy memorizing my steps, didn't bother to check the script, where the show was coming from, and then that afternoon nagulat na lang ako na I was all over social media." 

Per Camille, she understood why she became viral online and noted that the first thing she did upon seeing Kuya Kim was apologize to him 

"'Kuya forgive me, I didn't know' kasi hindi ko alam kung ano 'yung na-feel niya eh and syempre I'm grateful that he took it lightly because he's always been that way and I'm so grateful for that but I felt that it was, you know, gets ko talaga, Tito Boy," she said. "So I apologized to him, and he goes, 'you know Cams, that's not your —' 'yeah I know but I should've known.'" 

She added that she and Kuya Kim are all right, "What's important is he's fine, he's okay, he's happy, we're okay, and I'm glad I'm able to make a lot of people happy too."

In Kuya Kim's guesting on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" in November, he shared that he burst into laughter when he saw Camille's viral clip online.

He even called the actress the "Pambansang Dopamine." 

"Natawa ako. Natanggal ‘yung lungkot ko. Very effective si Camille Prats sa akin. Talagang 'pag nakikita ko, hanggang ngayon natatawa pa rin ako. Siya na ang Pambansang Dopamine. The Dopamine of Asia,” Kuya Kim had said.

Emman's passing was announced by her family on October 24. She was 19 years old.
