How did Ysabel Ortega feel when Miguel Tanfelix went on a solo backpacking trip to South America?

On Friday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Kapuso actress was asked the question, and she said she had no hard feelings at all.

“Kasi, umpisa pa lang po nung pagkakakilala ko kay Miguel, alam kong mahilig na talaga siya mag-backpacking. And mostly solo. Solo backpacking talaga ‘yung gusto niya to explore the world,” Ysabel said.

The Sparkle star acknowledged that she and Miguel have different dynamics when traveling together versus solo.

“Siyempre ‘pag kasama niya ako, may gano'ng factor pa na kailangan pa niya akong isipin. Iba ‘yung dynamic namin pag bumabyahe kami at siyempre iba rin pag mag-isa lang siya,” she said.

She also confirmed that their relationship allows for space, but they stay connected.

“I'm grateful for that kasi at least kahit na hindi niya ako kasama, hindi naman din niya pinaparamdam na hindi ako kasama sa journey niya traveling. So, ina-update niya ako palagi. Pinapakita niya ‘yung mga pictures niya. Nung nag-Machu Picchu siya, kinuwento niya lahat." 

Ysabel also shared that Miguel has a good relationship with her family.

“They're good. Miguel is very ma-effort when it comes to my family and building a relationship with them. And of course, ‘yun naman din ako. Same naman din ako with his family,” she said.

In 2023, Ysabel and Miguel first revealed that they are exclusively dating.

Among their travels together include vacations in Indonesia and Japan.
