Tom Rodriguez on MMFF Best Supporting Actor win: 'I'm still waking up grateful'
Tom Rodriguez has nothing but a grateful heart after winning the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
On Instagram, the Kapuso actor shared snaps of himself from the awarding ceremony on Saturday along with a heartfelt reflection on his win.
"I'm still waking up grateful," Tom began.
"I honestly didn't expect the nomination last night, much less the win. In the rush and emotion of the moment, I missed thanking a few people who are deeply integral to my work process," he added.
He then thanked his team, who became his "safety net through the years."
"Because of you, I get to jump wholeheartedly into my roles, knowing everything off camera is handled with care. Your quiet consistency is a gift I never take for granted," Tom wrote.
Tom also expressed his gratitude to his family who have supported him throughout his journey.
"Last night was overwhelming in the best way. But how I started my day is how I will choose to end it... with intentional gratitude. To everyone who continues to show up for the work, maraming-maraming salamat po sa inyo," he ended.
Tom won the Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Unmarry" starring Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo.
In his acceptance speech, Tom dedicated his award to his wife Cecilia and Korben.
