Ysabel Ortega shows singing skills with 'Awit ni Armea' in 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre'

Ysabel Ortega just proved that she's indeed a talented singer!

On YouTube, GMA Network shared a three-minute video featuring Ysabel as Armea in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre."

In the video, the Sparkle star showcased her vocals, pouring emotion into every line as she sang about freedom in "Awit ni Armea."

Netizens flooded the comment section with praise for Ysabel's vocals.

"Aside from 'Let It Go' sa  'Frozen,' naalala ko rin yung 'Speechless' ni Naomi Scott sa 'Aladdin.' It's giving empowered queen vibes and I love it," a comment read.

"Lakas maka Disney," another netizen said.

Armea is the daughter of Ybrahim (Ruru Madrid) and Alena (Gabbi Garcia). She is the Queen of Sapiro.

In the latest episode, Armea escaped from her wedding to Soldarius (Luis Hontiveros), a Sapiryan warrior who is chosen by the Sapiro council to be a suitable spouse for her, mainly for political reasons.

"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News
