Rave Victoria tears up as he reunites with his mom

Rave Victoria could not help but cry after reuniting with his mom, Haydee.

Sunday’s episode of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” showed the Kapamilya star and his mom crying and sharing a hug. 

As they talked, Rave asked why his mom, who is now based in South Korea, went home to the Philippines. 

“Umuwi talaga ako para sa’yo. Ang importante andito ako, diba?” Haydee said. 

She also apologized to Rave and explained why she was not able to invite him to her wedding—something he opened up about during the show’s “multo” task.

“Pasensya na anak dahil hindi ka nakasama sa kasal. Hindi ko alam na masakit ‘yun para sa 'yo. Pero alam mo anak, kung masakit ‘yun sa ’yo, doble ang sakit sa akin,” Haydee explained. 

“Alam mo kung bakit? Ayaw kong makita mo na magkaroon ako ng sariling pamilya. Natatakot ako na kapag nakita [kita], mag-back out ako dahil ayaw kong masaktan ka anak,” she added. 

She then gifted Rave a camera with a wide lens, which he can use for his photography hobby and for their next travel together. 

Before Haydee left, she expressed how proud she is of her son. 

“Huwag mong pinapabayaan ang sarili mo. Very proud na proud ako sa 'yo anak kasi napakabait mo,” she said.

In the confession room, Rave said his reunion with his mom answered all the questions running through his mind and heart.

“Nasagot niya po yung mga tanong sa isip at sa puso ko na matagal na po. Sobrang laking bagay sa akin na nasabi niya po ‘yon lahat sa akin kasi ngayon Kuya sobrang gaan na po ng pakiramdam ko kasi alam ko may ina ako na nandiyan uli para sa akin,” he shared, adding this Christmas has become the most memorable for him.
