Michael Sager earns praise for hosting skills in MMFF Gabi ng Parangal

Michael Sager earned the admiration of fans after showcasing his hosting skills at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025 Gabi ng Parangal.

The Sparkle star was one of the hosts of the awards ceremony, along with Enchong Dee and KaladKaren. Viewers were impressed with his confidence and eloquence on stage.

On Instagram, Michael expressed his gratitude for the opportunity.

"Earlier this year I prayed to be a part of the MMFF… God gave me more than I prayed for," he said. "Super grateful to have hosted the premiere nights for all eight films and Gabi ng Parangal!"

"Sugod na po tayo sa mga sinehan, at suportahan ang pelikulang Pilipino! This has been Michael sager your MMFF all-access guy! See you next year," he added.

On X (formerly Twitter), Michael said it was a dream come true for him to be part of the festivities as a host.

"Praying next year may entry na din hehe," he said.

Michael was a former housemate of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0." Several of his fellow housemates were also part of the MMFF this year as actors.

Will Ashley, Bianca De Vera, and Dustin Yu starred in "Love You So Bad," along with Xyriel Manabat, Ralph De Leon, and Vince Maristela.

Meanwhile, Mika Salamanca, Brent Manalo, Esnyr, Shuvee Etrata, Klarisse de Guzman, and River Joseph appeared in "Call Me Mother."

Will, Klarisse, and Emilio Daez were also part of "Bar Boys: After School" and Dustin was in "Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins."
