Sparkle stars gear up for Kapuso Countdown to 2026 performances

Kapuso and Sparkle stars are hard at work as they gear up for the Kapuso Countdown to 2026, which will be held on December 31 at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City. 

According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Kyline Alcantara will be hosting and perfomring at tomorrow's highly anticipated event.

"Para siyang panata talaga para sa akin 'cause ever since naman narealize ko na kapag nagtatrabaho ako 'pag New Year ibang klase yung blessings na pumapasok every single year," she shared 

Aside from Kyline, other performers include Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Rodjun Cruz, Christian Bautista, Rocco Nacino, Dasuri, Choi, Kitty and Kakai Almeda, Joshua Decena, and JM Yrreverre. 

K-pop group AHOF and Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Tiglao will also have a special participation. 

Per Athena Imperial's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" Angel Guardian and Faith Da Silva will likewise perform at the event. 

"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" housemates from Seasons 1 and 2, such as Will Ashley, Vince Maristela, AZ Martinez, Charlie Fleming, Waynona Collings, Lee Victor, Marco Masa, and Eliza Borromeo will also have performances for the attendees.  

Per Caramel's report, a security inspection and a walk-through at the venue were held on Tuesday to ensure the safety of attendees. 

The Kapuso Countdown to 2026 will open at 6 p.m., and the main program will begin at 10:30 p.m. The event is free admission.
