Kapuso stars and fans ushered in 2026 with a bang!

At the Kapuso Countdown to 2026 held at the SM Mall of Asia on Wednesday night, celebrities took to the stage to serve impressive performances, including Julie Ann San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Will Ashley, Vince Maristela, Charlie Fleming, AZ Martinez, and K-pop group AHOF.

The event was hosted by Betong Sumaya, Christian Bautista, Tim Yap, and Emma Tiglao.

According to a report by EJ Gomez on "Unang Hirit," fans came from various provinces and lined up as early as the morning. One attendee even came straight from Japan.

Fireworks went off at the end of the countdown, signaling the start of the New Year.

During the event, GMA Network also unveiled its offerings for 2026. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
