From DongYan to Carla Abellana, here are some 2026 celebrity predictions by a Feng Shui expert

2026 is here and so are the many New Year’s resolutions, plans, and predictions.

On “Unang Hirit” on Friday, Feng Shui consultant Johnson Chua shared this year’s predictions for Kapuso celebrities.

Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera

Dingdong Dantes, born in the Year of the Metal Monkey, shows good energy this year, Chua said. Meanwhile, Marian Rivera, who was born in the Year of the Wood Rat, has a compatible sign with her husband.

“One good thing is hindi lang sila pang partner in terms of celebrity, partner din sila in life. Tapos ‘yung mga decisions nila, nagiging intact siya,” Chua said.

DongYan, however, is warned about external factors. “Example, baka may mga pinaplano silang investment or mga business na gustong gawin, need to be more careful lang sila konti sa mga conflict at trust issue. ‘Wag lang mabilis masyado magtiwala.”

“Tsaka in terms of travel, maging maingat lang po sa mga accidents, like that. So wala muna masyado mga high-risk adventure or sports. Medyo chillax lang,” he added.

Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado

Dennis Trillo is a metal rooster while Jennylyn Mercado is a fire rabbit. According to Chua, these signs conflict with the horse, so problems in relationships need to be communicated so that these would not lead to fights.                      

“Although when you talk about conflict, hindi naman po talaga siya malas. Conflict, meaning nagkakaroon sila ng mga diskusyon kasi magkaiba sila ng pananaw,” Chua said. “As long as they can respect each other’s decision, they can compromise, then no problem po siya.”

Chua said the rabbit is the number one animal sign for the year. “So we can say na it’s a very good year for them. More opportunity, more project.”

He added that the rooster will have many “chances of new ideas,” new skills, and new horizons to explore.

Barbie Forteza

Barbie Forteza was born in the Year of the Fire Ox, which is one of the three top animal signs of 2026. A good year is expected especially in terms of networking, connections, and more resources. More projects and endorsements are also predicted.

Chua also said, “Meron siyang relationship star this year.”

Ruru Madrid

Ruru Madrid is also a fire ox, and is predicted to have similar perks. However, Ruru needs to be careful with his decisions and focus on one goal at a time.

“It’s a very good time na medyo meron din siyang gusto i-explore, new things, new skills na medyo gusto niya mas more ma-practice, so pwede siya mag-excel this year,” Chua said. “And relationship is also good.”

Alden Richards

Alden Richards is predicted to have more good things come his way this year, as he is a metal sheep, a best friend of the horse. He is forecast to have strong partnerships and connections.

The sheep also has a stronger influence this year, “so chances, baka meron siyang magawa for the year na ma-sha-shock tayong lahat.”

And since the horse is favorable for the sheep, a relationship is in the cards “but action is very important.”

Chua said, “Mas nauuna kasi minsan ‘yung work than the personal things na gusto niya talaga.”

Carla Abellana 

Carla Abellana is a fire tiger, and is predicted to have a very good 2026.

“Maganda din ang relationship star nila so baka mag-dire-diretso kung may plano for fertility or something like that,” Chua said.

She also has strong opportunities when it comes to connections and resources.

However, the tiger is accident-prone, so Carla needs to be careful for physical injuries.

Jillian Ward

For Jillian Ward, a wood rooster, there are new opportunities and ideas. A strong focus is needed, and should not be influenced by emotions and avoid being impulsive or tactless.
