'House of Lies' starring Beauty Gonzalez, Kris Bernal, more teases family drama, betrayal; to premiere Jan. 19

The upcoming Kapuso series "House of Lies" is set to bring fresh drama, betrayal, and family secrets as it premieres on GMA Network on January 19. 

The exciting drama series is headlined by Beauty Gonzalez, Kris Bernal, Mike Tan, and Martin Del Rosario. It marks Kris' return to showbiz after taking a hiatus for a few years. 

In its recently released teaser, viewers are met with tension as the scene opens with a demolition order in an urban poor community. 

True to the series' title, a physical house lies at the center of the story, a grand manor that seems to be filled with just as many secrets as the people who live in it. 

The teaser also offers glimpses of the intense scenes to come: Mike's character being slapped by Beauty, an emotionally charged scene from Martin, and a strangling match between Beauty and Kris. 

The teaser ends with the house on fire. 

"House of Lies" will premiere on Jan. 19 at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime. 

It also stars Jackie Lou Blanco, Kokoy de Santos, Snooky Serna, Geo Mhanna, Angel Cadao, Kayla Davies, and more.
