Katrina Halili revives Black Darna outfit on 40th birthday

Katrina Halili is taking a trip down memory lane as she donned her Black Darna outfit to mark her 40th birthday.

On Instagram, the Kapuso actress shared portraits of herself as she transformed into her Black Darna character, the antagonist in the then-Kapuso TV series "Darna."

"Sa mga namilit para sa inyo 'to," Katrina said. "Black Darna, challenge accepted. Pwede pa ba?”

In a separate post, she shared additional outtakes from her Black Darna shoot.

“Pagbigyan na si Black Darna at bihira makalabas, gagala muna siya sa Earth,” she said.

Black Darna is the villain to the 2025 "Darna" remake that aired in GMA. It starred Angel Locsin in the titular role and Katrina Halili was the villain.

In 2025, Katrina starred in "Mommy Dearest" alongside Camille Prats .

She has a daughter named Katie with her ex-partner, Kris Lawrence . She gave birth in 2012.

Katrina has been open on social media about Katie's Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis.

In July 2025, she shared an unfiltered moment with her daughter, having a tantrum at school because she did not want to go home yet.
