Beauty Gonzalez becomes a certified yoga teacher after training in India
Beauty Gonzalez is now a certified yoga teacher!
In her GMA Integrated News Interview with Nelson Canlas which aired on “24 Oras,” Wednesday, the Kapuso actress shared that she went on a solo trip to Rishikesh, India and pursued yoga studies.
“I went to India, in Rishikesh, alone for a month. It was, oh my God, parang I was healed. I do my laundry, I was vegetarian for a month, I do yoga three times a day, they teach us meditation. I enjoyed it and I was healed and I'm a certified yoga teacher now,” Beauty said.
Beauty explained that she intentionally chose a secluded school located on top of a mountain to stay focused on her training.
“Ano naman siya, may Facetime naman ako. Pero my school kasi was on top of a mountain. Pinili ko talaga na out of the city kasi alam kong tatakas lang ako sa gabi at pa-party. So pinili ko talaga in a very secluded school sa taas. And then bawal kaming tumakas kasi may mga tigers sa labas, literally. I mean, if I could only do a vlog, it's a fun experience. I just did it. And naman my graduation, sumunod ‘yung family ko,” she said.
Beauty added that she enjoys visiting places rich in culture and color.
“I like going to obscure places din eh. Like this year, I went to India. I went back to India for a month. And this year naman, I'm thinking about going to Socotra Islands or maybe Egypt, or I don't know, Sri Lanka. Because I like something different. I like culture. I like to see colors. I like to see something new in my eyes,” she said.
Beauty is set to star in “House of Lies” with Kris Bernal, Jackie Lou Blanco, Snooky Serna, Martin Del Rosario, Mike Tan, Kokoy De Santos, and more.
The upcoming afternoon teleserye will premiere on Jan. 19 at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime.
