Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza vacays in Hong Kong with Leon Barretto and family
Sophia Laforteza of Katseye spent the first few days of January vacationing in Hong Kong with her close friend Leon Barretto and both of their families.
On Instagram, Leon shared photos from their visit to Hong Kong Disneyland, where they were joined by his mother, Marjorie Barretto; his sisters Erich and Dani Barretto; Dani’s husband, Xavi Panlilio; and their children, Millie and Riley.
In the photos, the group could be seen hopping on different rides and enjoying the attractions.
“Starting the year in the happiest place on earth with the people I love most,” Leon said in the caption.
Sophia was also accompanied by her own family during the trip.
Sophia and Leon are known to be close friends and often spend time together whenever Sophia comes home to the Philippines.
Sophia is a member of Katseye, the global girl group that debuted in 2023. The group visited Manila in 2024 for a fan showcase, along with other appearances and collaborations.
Katseye is nominated for Best New Artist for the Grammys this year, and their song “Gabriela” is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
