SexBomb Girls to perform on 'All-Out Sundays'
The SexBomb Girls are set to light up the stage once again as they prepare to perform on "All-Out Sundays!"
In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Rochelle Pangilinan admitted that returning to the spotlight comes with mixed emotions.
"Noon, kabadong-kabado dahil feeling namin baka wala nang sumusuporta sa amin, wala nang manonood. Ngayon, kinakabahan na kami sa sobrang andami-daming sumusuporta. Hindi namin alam kung matutumbasan ba namin," she said.
The group expressed joy over how their signature dance steps continue to resonate across generations.
"Kasi pinalaki ng mga mommies, ng millennials, ng Gen Z. So parang tumawid lahat, karamihan ng generation ang SexBomb. Kaya happy kami talaga," Rochelle said.
That enduring popularity was evident over the weekend, when fans lined up to secure tickets for the group's reunion concert.
"Naloloka nga kami talaga kada makikita namin 'yung mga posts. Tapos 'pag meron silang nakuhang ticket, 'yung iba nagi-split pa," Aira Bermudez said.
"'Yung iba parang nanalo sa lotto," Rochelle said.
For Mia Pangyarihan, the upcoming performances go beyond numbers and ticket sales.
"Regardless na kung may manood sa atin o wala, ang importante ay makapagsayaw tayo nang buo sa iisang stage at sa pinapangarap nating malaking venue, which is hindi kasi namin nagawa before nung time namin," she said.
The SexBomb Girls had a reunion concert at the Araneta Coliseum on December 4 and the SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 9.
The third, fourth, and fifth rounds of the show are happening on February 6, 7, and 8.
The group rose to fame through its daily appearances on a noontime TV variety show. Later, the Sexbomb Girls starred in the afternoon soap, "Daisy Siete," and became top recording artists. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
