Ellen Adarna calls 2016 her 'hubadera' era: 'I was young, wild, and free'

Ellen Adarna hopped on the 2016 throwback trend and reflected on how different her life is a decade later.

On Instagram, Ellen shared photos of her beach trips and magazine shoots from 2016, and called it "my hubadera era,” she said. 

”I was young, wild, and free," Ellen added. "No responsibilities era.”

In her stories, she showed how vastly different 2016 is compared to 2026, sharing a candid photo of herself watering her plants and then flexing her kids Elias and Liana. Ellen called them her "pride and joy. 

According to Ellen, 2026 "already feels different, clamer, sweeter, full of laughter, tiny moments, and big love." 

“Just me, my kids, and the peace we prayed for,” she said.

Her relief at 2026 isn't surprising. In November 2025, Ellen announced her separated from Derek Ramsay following his alleged infidelity. 

In her exposé, Ellen revealed that they were no longer living together, that she was staying put in his house while her house was being renovated, that she enlisted the local government's help in getting him to move out temporarily, and that John Lloyd Cruz, the father of Elias, is a good provider.

The 2016 trend has gripped social media for a few days now, with celebrities including Bretman Rock, Gabbi Garcia, and Andi Eigenmann sharing their own throwbacks, giving fans a peek at what they were up to ten years ago.
