Dennis Trillo shares fanboy moment with Anderson .Paak in California
Dennis Trillo could not help but fanboy upon meeting Grammy Award-winning American artist Anderson .Paak in a chance encounter during his trip to the United States with wife Jennylyn Mercado.
On Facebook, the Kapuso actor shared a clip of himself and Paak shaking hands and posing for photos in West Hollywood, California.
According to Dennis, he spotted Paak in public and had to look twice to make sure it was him. He said that he felt shy to ask for a picture, so Jennylyn went up to Paak to make the request.
"Buti na lang nag lakas ng loob ang asawa ko. Dali-dali naman siyang lumapit," he said.
"Akala daw niya kung sinong cute na bading na tingin ng tingin sa kanya," he added in jest.
Dennis also enjoined his fans to support Paak's upcoming film, "K-Pops!" which the music icon directed and starred in. It will be released in U.S. theaters on February 27.
Paak is known for his contributions to R&B and hip-hop, with Grammy-winning songs like "Bubblin," "Come Home," and "Lockdown" under his belt. "Leave the Door Open," his song with Bruno Mars as the Silk Sonic duo, had also won several Grammys.
He has won nine Grammys thus far, the latest of which was Best Progressive R&B Album for "Why Lawd?" with Knxwledge (NxWorries) in 2024
Meanwhile, Dennis and Jennylyn are spending time with family in the United States as their Kapuso series, "Sanggang Dikit FR," nears its finale.
