Anton Vinzon reacts to fan ship with Carmelle Collado

During Anton Vinzon’s time on “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” he developed a close friendship with some female housemates, including Carmelle Collado. 

Given their bond, fans couldn’t help but ship them, forming the fan ship CarTon in the early days of the season.

In an exclusive interview with GMA News Online, the Sparkle actor talked about their friendship as well as their fanship. 

“Hindi ko po inexpect,” Anton answered, when asked about the ship.

When it comes to their friendship, the former PBB housemate said that he formed a good relationship with Carmelle because he can connect with her.

“It’s good. It’s good naman po ‘yung friendship namin ni Carmelle. Grabe po 'yung bond namin talaga,” Anton said.

He said he resonates with Carmelle because, like him and his sister, Lala Vinzon, she is a singer, too.

“My sister po, she's a singer. Kaya 'yun po talaga yung nag-build ng connection po sa amin ni Carmel. So we're very alike. She can sing. I can sing din,” he added. 

In the same interview, Anton also shared that since they are both singers, he wants to work with Carmelle in a musical. 

“Gusto ko po 'yung 'High School Musical' 'yung datingan. Di ba? 'Yung kakanta at mag-aacting kami. 'Yung ganoon 'yung datingan.”

CarTon tugged the heartstrings of netizens in the early days of “PBB Collab 2” when Anton acted as Carmelle’s human shield when the latter was surprised by the sudden appearance of a terrifying clown.

Anton and Rave Victoria were the latest housemate to get evicted from Bahay ni Kuya this season.
