Alden Richards on reunion with 'Tween Hearts' co-stars: 'The four of us already came a long way'
Alden Richards recently reunited with his "Tween Hearts" co-stars Barbie Forteza, Kristoffer Martin, and Bea Binene during the opening of his fast food chain branch in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" Tuesday, the Asia's Multimedia Star described the mini-reunion as a nostalgic moment.
"Very nostalgic, very briefly lang din [nag-kuwentuhan] pero 'yung moments together nag-reminisce, bumalik sa 'kin 'yung mga times na nagkukulitan kami on set when we were all together with certain projects," he said.
"Looking at us right now, parang all of us, the four of us already came a long way in our different journeys," he added.
On Instagram, Kristoffer and Bea shared photos of their mini-reunion with Alden and Barbie. They also congratulated Alden on the opening of his McDonald's branch.
The group had starred together in "Tween Hearts," which aired on GMA Network in 2010. It followed a group of teens navigating the ups and downs of high school life, such as young love and bullying.
The series also starred Joyce Ching, Derrick Monasterio, Jhake Vargas, Louise De Los Reyes, Lexi Fernandez, and more.
Per Canlas' report, Alden has his plate full this 2026, including his return as host on "Stars on the Floor" and his upcoming series with Nadine Lustre called "Love, Siargao."
"Excited, of course, working with Nadine and at the same time it will be streaming on Viu," Alden said of "Love, Siargao. "It's gonna be our love letter to the Filipinos to tell them na hindi natin kailangan lumabas ng bansa para makita 'yung ganda na nasa harap natin."
Alden is also starring in the upcoming medical drama series “Code Gray” and in the upcoming international film “Big Tiger.”
