Jillian Ward admits pressure after seeing billboard for upcoming series ‘Never Say Die’

Jillian Ward admitted that she is feeling pressured for her upcoming series “Never Say Die” after seeing the show’s massive GMA billboard along EDSA.

As seen in Aubrey Carampel’s report in “24 Oras” on Thursday, the Kapuso star took a photo with the massive billboard.

“It was such an honor na ilagay ang show namin sa pinakamalaking billboard ng GMA,” she said.

According to her, although she feels happy about it, it adds more pressure on her.

“Sa totoo lang masaya ako, pero nakakadagdag ng pressure, ganoon, which is a good thing din naman po,” Jillian added.

She also said she felt more inspired to return to taping and do well in her action scenes.

“First time ko kasi din po talaga mag-action eh. So di ko sasabihin na madali ang journey ko dito sa show na ito dahil ‘yun first time ko nga mag-action tapos syempre primetime pa siya. Mas nakakadagdag po ng kaba pero more than that parang ini-enjoy ko kasi ‘yung taping days namin,” she shared.

The Sparkle star likewise talked about her three leading men in the series, namely David Licauco, Raheel Bhyria, and Kim Ji Soo.

“Si Raheel, lagi siyang andiyan sa akin para makinig. If kailangan ko siya, very supportive. Kumbaga pwede kang mag-share sa kaniya ng mga personal na nangyayari sa life mo. Magbibigay siya ng life advices,” Jillian said of Raheel.

“Actually hindi alam ng mga tao but Raheel is very educated. Marami siyang alam. Mahilig siyang magbasa ng mga books,” she added.

Ji Soo, on the other hand, is “medyo makulit,” but “very disciplined" on set.

"I think isa ‘yon sa mga natutunan ko sa kaniya since nakawork ko rin siya sa [‘Abot-Kamay na Pangarap']. He’s very disciplined, he’s very serious sa trabaho niya,” Jillian shared.

Lastly, Jillian said that David makes her feel like an empowered woman.

“He makes me feel like an empowered women kahit na younger ako sa kaniya. 'Pag kausap ko po si David, talagang parang 'ay wow feeling ko ano, feeling ko ang dami kong natututunan.' He makes me feel like I’m smart also.”

In the same interview, Jillian was asked about the mystery man who appeared in her recent viral TikTok video where she hopped on the “Big Guy” trend.

For now, Jillian is keeping his identity a mystery, but she gave a clue about her big guy.

“Well magbibigay ako ng isang clue kasi may mga comments na sabi nila hindi matangkad 'yung nasa likod. Pero kasi ang clue naka-[crouch] siya para hindi kita ‘yung mukha niya. So matangkad ‘yung taong ‘yon,” she shared.

“Hayaan niyo naman akong kiligin. Mag-21 na ako," she quipped.

She added that a second part of the video, where she will do the reveal, will be coming soon.

“Soon siguro i-shoot ko ulit 'yung video na ‘yon pero may reveal. Abangan niyo na lang yan.”

Aside from Jillian, David, Ji Soo and Raheel, “Never Say Die” also stars Raymart Santiago, Richard Yap, Angelu De Leon, Analyn Barro, Wendell Ramos, and more.

It is set to premiere on GMA Prime soon.
