Boobay in 'good condition' after collapsing on stage in Oriental Mindoro

Boobay is recovering well after collapsing during a performance in Bansud, Oriental Mindoro earlier this week.

According to a statement by Sparkle GMA Artist Center on Thursday, the comedian is "currently stable, and in good condition."

"Sparkle is fully supporting his recovery with complete medical care, rest, and regular monitoring. We sincerely thank fans and the public for their concern and kind messages during this time," Sparkle said.

"Boobay is grateful for the support and looks forward to returning once fully recovered."

As seen in a video by Reynaldo Rodas Vlog, Boobay fell on stage mid-performance during the Basudani Festival Variety Show held on January 19. He was immediately assisted and seen to by the medical team.

According to GMA Public Affairs, Boobay was later able to return to the stage. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
